Fair pricing and campaign finance policy
Campaign money comes with rules. Ours are written so you never have to worry about how you paid us.
One published price for everyone
When a business gives a campaign something of value below its usual price, election law in many places can treat the difference as a contribution from that business. That can trigger limits, reporting and, in some states, outright bans on business contributions.
So we don't negotiate. Every candidate, of every party, pays the prices on our packages page. Our only discounts are published there and open to everyone on the same terms:
- $100 off setup for first-time candidates
- 15% off setup for the 2028 early reservation when setup is paid in full by June 30, 2027
- 12 months of a monthly plan for the price of 10 when prepaid
If we ever change a price or a discount, we change it for everyone and update this page.
We never handle contributions
Your donate button links to your own account with WinRed, ActBlue, Anedot or another processor permitted in your state. Contributions go directly to your campaign. We don't collect, hold, forward or see donor payment information.
Every charge is invoiced
We send an itemized invoice to your committee for every charge: setup, add-ons and each month of service. Your treasurer pays it and reports it as a campaign expense in whatever way your state requires. If you paid personally before forming a committee, we'll provide receipts so you can document it.
Your lists stay yours
Volunteer, yard-sign and email sign-ups collected on your site belong to your campaign. We don't keep them for our own use, sell them, or share them with any other campaign, including campaigns from your own party.
Tools we recommend
Some companies whose tools we recommend, such as texting or email services, pay us a referral commission when a campaign signs up through our link. When we recommend a paid tool to a client, we say up front whether we earn anything from it. Using our links is never required, it never changes our prices, and we'll connect your site to whichever service you choose. Commission links on our recommended tools page are labeled.
We don't take sides
CandidateLaunch doesn't endorse candidates, and we build for every party and for nonpartisan races. Our founder is a candidate himself; his own campaign is separate from this business and receives no special pricing or services from it.
